The Chamber’s website was created on the Microsoft DNN platform that was poorly maintained by the developer after the web company was sold out of state. The Chamber had limited ability to make updates and was unable to move forward on plans to cross advertise and utilize any additional functions.
After working with the Chamber of Commerce, we decided to change the platform to an open source platform, import the articles and create modules to incorporate more social media feeds and increased content.
Within one month of conversion, the Chamber experienced an increase in web traffic and an increase of membership requests directly from the website.
We have also created a mobile site for their online directory to be connected with the City of Elmhurst to showcase all of the businesses within the city via mobile app.
